Your 5 Day - 4 Night 'Longer Days' tour, begins after a night spent resting in the main town of Douglas, and now you're ready to go. The first riding day of the tour takes you west to the village of St John’s before heading south for a spot of lunch at Port Erin via the beautiful winding descent of the Sloc Road. After lunch, if you wish, you can then tackle the steep Cregneash climb to be rewarded by a stunning view of the southern tip of the main Island and its neighbouring small Isle – the Calf of Man, before looping back to Port Erin, although the leisurely option would be to just enjoy an ice cream on Port Erin promenade. The day then continues with a return to Douglas via Marine Drive – a sinuous coastal road on the east of the Island with wonderful views up and down the coast, before dropping down from Douglas head and back to your same Douglas Guest House.

Day 2 heads north to the mining village of Laxey and its giant Victorian water wheel the Lady Isabella. Continuing north, you then hug the coast through Maughold village and the outskirts of Ramsey past a good lunch stop at the beautiful Milntown Estate & Gardens. After lunch, you ride on the lanes of the flat Northern Plains up to the Northern tip of the Island at the Point of Ayre. This is the closest point to the UK mainland and Burrow Head in Scotland is clearly visible just 16-miles away across the Irish Sea. Then it’s just a short spin back to Ramsey and your other guest house as home for the remainder of the trip.

Day 3 is a loop ride heading south down the west coast of the Island to the fishing village of Peel, home to the Island’s only cathedral and the world-famous Manx Kippers. After lunch, the return is via Kirk Michael and parts of the TT course to finish back in Ramsey. The following day we will transfer you back to Douglas for your return home by ferry or plane.

On our 5 Day - 4 Night 'Shorter Days' tour, your first riding day of the tour takes you west to the village of St John’s before heading south to Port Erin via the beautiful winding descent of the Sloc Road. After lunch, you may want to tackle the steep Cregneash climb to be rewarded by a stunning view of the southern tip of the main Island and its neighbouring small Isle – the Calf of Man. You'll then return to Port Erin before the rest of the day sees you riding to Peel through Patrick.

Day sees you leaving Peel, which is home to the Island’s only cathedral and the world-famous Manx Kippers. You will ride up north via the west coast of the island through Kirk Michael and parts of the TT course to finish in Ramsey.

Day 3 begins riding on the lanes of the flat Northern Plains up to the Northern tip of the Island at the Point of Ayre. This is the closest point to the UK mainland and Burrow Head in Scotland is clearly visible just 16-miles away across the Irish Sea. Then it’s just a short spin back to Ramsey where you head south hugging the coastline to the mining village of Laxey and its giant Victorian water wheel the Lady Isabella. After which you have the short ride back to Douglas and your guesthouse for your final night on the Isle of Man.

This tour begins and ends in Douglas. All of our cycling holidays on the island include two nights in Douglas - please enquire if this is not needed due to ferry or flight times or if you would like to stay a little longer.

From Ramsey you will then travel south along the east coast back to Douglas hugging the coast road and riding through the mining village of Laxey and its giant Victorian water wheel the Lady Isabella.
