This 170 mile tour includes four days cycling and four nights in cycling friendly hotels/guesthouses/B&Bs along the way. Your first night's accommodation is at the start point in Morecambe the day before the tour starts. In the morning, after a good night's sleep in Morecambe and once you've filled up on a hearty breakfast, we'll meet at your accommodation and have a brief introduction to today's stage of the Way of the Roses - including pit stops and scenic spots along the way - and fit you on your bikes, if you're renting bikes. We'll all then head to the start point on the Morecambe Bay promenade, answer any last minute questions and take a few before photos. Your group will then set off and our support vehicle will leapfrog you throughout the day, supplying drinks and snacks when needed, some spare parts and tools for the bikes or a soft seat!
Each day we will give you a briefing about the day's ride in the morning and we'll always be only phone call away if you need any assistance on the route. You'll pass through the Forest of Bowland, the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale AONB and the Yorkshire Wolds, so there will be plenty of spectacular views for you to take in on your four day tour. Finally on the last day, once you've arrived in Bridlington and eaten the almost mandatory fish 'n' chips, we'll collect you, the group, your bikes and bring you back to Morecambe.
Your tour is designed to be a leisurely tour, allowing you to take frequent pit stops along this scenic and varied route. People will set their own pace on the tour and usually groups will form where people of similar levels will cycle together.
