The Lancaster Witches Walk is the bewitching 5 day walk, across Pendle Hill and over the Forest of Bowland, developed to commemorate 400 hundred anniversary of the trial and execution of the Pendle Witches. This is a 51 mile walk over some stunning scenery, from Pendle where they lived to Lancaster Castle the site of the witches trials.
As well as going over Salter Fell and the roof of Bowland, around Pendle Hill and along the River Lune, the route also passes through some lovely villages like Slaidburn, Waddington and Fence.
